Mossley off and running

MOSSLEY’S Evo-Stik League Division One North campaign is up and running thanks to yesterday’s 2-1 win at Padiham.

The Lilywhites’ opening victory of the 2014-15 season came courtesy of goals either side of half-time from Tom Pratt and Mitchell Bryant. Pratt also saw a penalty-kick saved shortly before the interval.

Padiham pulled a 90th-minute goal back through Spencer Jordan, but Mossley held on comfortably for three points that lifted them to 15th place.
