DIGGLE secured a 3-3 draw at Berry Brow in the First Division of the Huddersfield League.

Chris Woods scored seven times and Adam Fitzgerald his three as Uppermill’s fourth team thumped Scissett ‘A’ 10-2 in the Huddersfield FA Trophy.

But Uppermill’s seconds lost 3-2 at home to Grange Moor in the Huddersfield FA Cup.

Moorside triumphed 3-1 at Brighouse Old Boys in Division Four, but 3D Dynamos lost by the odd goal in seven at Almondbury Woolpack.



IT proved to be a bad day at the office for Santos in Division One of the Lancashire and Cheshire League.

The Oldham outfit were crushed 7-0 at Bury Amateurs.

In Division Three, Oldham Victoria were on the wrong end of a 5-3 scoreline when hosting Bolton side Deans.

Manchester Amateur Cup action saw AFC Oldham’s fourth team hammered 11-0 by Irlam’s reserves. However, Oldham’s fifth team secured a 2-1 home derby victory against Oldham Victoria seconds.



OLDHAM Hulmeians secured a morale-boosting 6-1 home win against Blackrod Town in Division One of the Lancashire Amateur League. Chaddertonians faltered, losing 2-0 at Tyldesley United.



THE Match of the Day tomorrow sees Uppermill and Hollinwood come face-to-face in a Manchester League Division One clash at Churchill playing fields (2pm). Uppermill currently top the division, with Hollinwood in third place.
