Reece inspires Blue brigade

SNOOKER:
A BREAK of 55 from Danny Reece was the highlight for Blue Club ‘B’ in their 5-1 victory at St Paul’s in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Nimble Nook’s 5-1 win at Blue Club ‘A’ put them only one point behind leaders North Chadderton ‘A’, who narrowly came out on top in their clash against their ‘B’ team.
Royton Band remain the team to catch in the cards section, their 3-1 win at home to Stanley Road ‘A’ taking them three points clear of nearest rivals North Chadderton ‘B’, who were held 2-2 by their ‘A’ team.
TARA ‘B’ boast a five-point lead over their ‘A’ team at the top of the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League following a 4-2 victory at Greenacres.
Tara ‘A’ had a hard game at home to against Cricket and just managed to win by the same scoreline.
