ATHLETES from Hulme School enjoyed the bulk of the success at the Oldham Primary Schools’ Cross-Country Championships.

The talented team were crowned overall schools champions after taking first place in both the seperate boys’ and girls’ events at Chadderton Hall Park.

St Joseph’s were the overall runners-up, while Dobcross finished third.

St Joseph’s were girls’ runners-up, while St Mary’s Greenfield finished third.

In the boys’ event, St Thomas Leesfield finished second and Dobcross third.
