Non-league: IN-FORM Mossley will tomorrow maintain their push for an Evo-Stik League Division One North play-off place.

The Lilywhites host struggling Ossett Town in the first of three consecutive home fixtures..

League points are the priority and the goals are flowing.

Last weekend’s 4-2 triumph at neighbours Droylsden leaves Mossley only six points behind the fourth-placed Bloods with three games in hand.

Lilywhites joint-boss Peter Band said: “We are trying to play good football and we are creating chances. We could have scored eight or nine in the first half alone at Droylsden.

“We’re looking dangerous. We’ll be pushing Ossett up the pitch and we’ll create chances.”

Again Band and fellow joint-boss Lloyd Morrison have few injury worries.

CHADDERTON will try for a third time to play their mouth-watering home FA Carlsberg Vase fourth-round tie against AFC Mansfield tomorrow.

The clash against the Northern Counties East League outfit has twice been postponed so far due to the weather. The winners will host Tadcaster Albion in the last 16.

OLDHAM BORO, still rooted to the bottom of the North-West Counties League First Division table, face another tough task tomorrow as they bid to end a run of seven straight defeats at sixth-placed Atherton LR.
