North ‘B’ steal bragging rights

NORTH Chadderton ‘A’ might be sitting on top of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League table, but it is the club’s ‘B’ team who have hit a purple patch of late.
Their 5-1 victory over Blue Club ‘A’ featured breaks of 35 from K Leach and 31 from D Balcerzak.
This latest win means that in the last four weeks North Chadderton ‘B’ have taken 22 points from a possible 24 to move up to joint second.
Chadderton Reform share second spot following their 4-2 win at Deaf ‘A’, who are alongside their ‘B’ team in the bottom three.
In the cards section, North Chadderton ‘B’ continue to lead the way after a 3-1 victor over Blue Club ‘A’.
But Royton Band beat Deaf ‘B’ 4-0 to cut the gap at the top to only two points.
RUNAWAY Saw-Tech Snooker League leaders Tara ‘B’ were brought down to earth with a bang when they were thrashed 6-0 by Greenacres.
Man-of-the-match S Bramwell had a fine 31 break to help his team to a victory which took them into third place. Second-placed Cricket also had a fine win, beating Tara ‘A’ 5-1, A Carter preventing the whitewash.
