Lilywhites up to seventh

FOOTBALL:  

MOSSLEY are up to seventh place in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table, thanks to a 2-0 home win against play-off chasing rivals Spennymoor Town last night.

Tom Dean and Rio Ahmadi scored a goal in each half for the Lilywhites, whose next fixture is away at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday.

In the North-West Counties League First Division, Chadderton also moved up the table courtesy of a 3-0 win at Atherton LR.

Oldham Boro travel to AFC Darwen tonight (7.45pm).
