Delph on the rise?
Date published: 14 August 2015
CRICKET: DELPH could be up to third place in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership by tomorrow evening.
The Huddersfield Road club, which have enjoyed a terrific second half of the season, are at second-bottom Moorlands. Shepley and Honley, in third and fourth respectively, are only a point ahead of Delph.
EGERTON Street, the home of Denton Cricket Club, is the destination for Woodhouses in the Greene King Lancashire County League tomorrow. Houses suffered a heavy loss at the hands of third-placed Glossop last weekend, but will fancy their chances of defeating a team who stand only three places and six points better off than the Belfields outfit.
