Derby leads Nook to title

BOWLS: NIMBLE Nook landed the Chadderton Bowling League’s ‘A’ Division title and one of their players, Jimmy Derby, was the merit winner after registering most individual wins during the season.



FINALS of the Failsworth League’s Castle Cup will be held at Royton Cricket and Bowling Club on Sunday week, September 6 (10.30am).

The teams involved are Hollinwood Cricket, Springbank ‘B’ and North Chadderton’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams.



FAILSWORTH’S Maurice Foskett and John Atkinson are among the players in action in the heats of Norden BC’s Your Choice men’s singles on Sunday (6pm).
