Mossley’s quest to halt slide

FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY could do with a slice of luck as they bid to get their faltering Evo-Stik League Division One North campaign back on track tomorrow at fellow mid-table outfit Ossett Town.
The Lilywhites have lost their last five games and early-season promise has faded away. A mini injury crisis and players being away hasn’t helped, but Mossley will be back to full strength for the
testing trip to Yorkshire.
Joint-manager Peter Band said: “We’ve not had much luck lately through one reason or another. We could do with a goal going in off somebody’s behind or an own goal to get us back on the right track.
“We have had a couple of free midweeks now, though, and that’s given us the chance to get a few players rested and back to full fitness.”
Kyle McGonigle, Caldon Henson and Lee Wilson return for Mossley following injury.
CHADDERTON head to Eccleshall for a North-West Counties League First Division mid-table clash.
Chaddy will hope to bounce back positively from losing two points to a stoppage-time equaliser from Litherland REMYCA last weekend.
