Date published: 20 January 2016
SNOOKER: THREE Cs ‘A’ were involved in a real scrap at home to North Chadderton ‘A’ in the Hollands Pies Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
They trailed 3-1 in frames and also lagged behind on the aggregate, so the final frame was of great importance to both sides. And it was Tanveer Hussain, with the help of a 32 clearance, who won it and clinched the aggregate for Three Cs to earn a share of the spoils.
Despite losing 4-2 at home to Deaf ‘A’, Blue Club remain top of the snooker section, while at cards St Paul’s returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory which puts them five points clear at the top.
