WITH leaders Prestwich Heys inactive, title hopefuls Royton Town missed the chance to go top of the FBT Manchester League Premier Division.
At home to mid-table Manchester Gregorians, Town were beaten 1-0 and remain second in the standings.
Local rivals Springhead are up to fifth after sweeping aside next-to-bottom Boothstown 4-1 and drawing 2-2 with Atherton Town on Easter Monday.
Avro suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Old Alts, while Uppermill only had a Thomas Simpson goal to show for their efforts as they succumbed 6-1 against visitors Dukinfield Town.
Hollinwood faced a stern examination at Division One high-flying East Manchester.
