Dynamos go clear

FOOTBALL: IT’S been a good few days for Lancashire Amateur League Premier Division leaders Failsworth Dynamos.

After missing out on action at the weekend, Dynamos have since beaten Farnworth Town 4-1 in the First XI Cup and have triumphed 2-0 at Bury GSOB to stretch their lead at the top of the table to five points.

Chaddertonians lost 6-2 at Bury GSOB in the league, before bowing out of the First XI Cup 4-2 on penalties at Old Blackburnians after the match ended 3-3 in normal time.

In Division One, Oldham Hulmeians enjoyed a 3-1 victory at Blackrod Town.
