Webster eyeing a special night

TICKETS are already being snapped up as some of the best darts player on the planet, including Michael van Gerwen, star in the second annual Night of Champions event at Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham.
The world number one is set to headline the show, back by popular demand, which also features the return of defending champion Mark Webster, Vincent van der Voort, John Henderson, Darryl Fitton and the legendary Bobby George.
Premier League star Peter Wright, former World champion Stephen Bunting and the ever-entertaining Wayne Mardle are also appearing in Oldham on Friday, December 9.
Last year's winner Webster, a former BDO World champion, is hoping to repeat his success from the inaugural staging of the event.
He said: "I'm really up for this one. Attempting to defend my title makes it that little bit more special for me."
Darts is regarded as the best night out in sport, with thousands of fans regularly flocking to events to sample its unique atmosphere and enjoy sporting entertainment of the highest quality.
