Panda Pre School rated Good

Panda Pre School Broadway is celebrating after OFSTED has rated them Good in all areas in their first inspection.

The OFSTED inspectors report found, 'Children independence flourishes in this friendly and nurturing setting. Children enjoy their play and have a positive attitude to learning. For example children laugh, giggle and clap with excitement as they play'.

Panda Pre-school is managed by the Werneth and Freehold Community Development Project a charity that has worked in the Oldham Borough since 1991. It is a non-for-profit preschool meaning any revenue generated by the preschool is re invested in the work of the charity.

Panda Pre-school Broadway is based at 588 Broadway Chadderton and this is their first inspection since opening in 2015.

Gayle Cooper, the manager, and her team are praised in that the report which says: “Teamwork and respect between staff is excellent.

“Parents comment they have lots of confidence in the experienced staff and say the staff are great and very committed.”

Gayle said: “I am extremely proud of my team and all the hard work they have put in since the opening of the pre-school, the report reflects on the experience and quality of the teaching and nurturing of the children.

“Panda Preschools aims to maintain affordable quality childcare.”

Project coordinator Yvonne Burtonwood is delighted with the OFSTED report for Panda Pre school Broadway and proud of her staff team.

Yvonne said: “It is pleasing to read that the inspector recognises that all children make good progress from their starting point and are well prepared for the next stage in development.”
