BREAKING: Man accused of Danielle murder sees case adjourned

A man accused of the murder of Oldham woman Danielle Richardson, found stabbed to death in a Manchester city centre apartment, could go on trial in the summer.
Michael Marler, of Brideoak Street, Oldham, has been charged with murdering 24-year-old Danielle, whose body was found at a flat in Ancoats early last Tuesday morning.
Mr Marler appeared to wipe tears from his face during a brief appearance at Manchester Crown Court this morning (Tuesday).
The 37-year-old appeared in front of a judge via videolink from prison where he has been remanded in custody.
Judge Patrick Field QC adjourned the case until May 21.
The defendant, who wore a grey tracksuit, was remanded in custody until May 21 by Judge Patrick Field QC before being taken back to his cell.
The defendant has also been charged with attempted robbery, section 39 assault and three counts of causing damage to motor vehicles.
