The incident took place on Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24, 2023), at around 6pm.

No arrests have been made so far in connection with this incident.

The victim described the incident to officers and said she was watching television when suddenly she heard a loud bang.

When she went to investigate the noise, she was confronted by three masked males who had smashed and forcibly entered through the rear patio doors.

One of the intruders forced the victim stay in the kitchen with him, while the other two proceeded to search the property for about five minutes.

Subsequently, the three perpetrators fled the property, and the victim immediately contacted the police.

It was later revealed that the incident occurred on the victim's 77th birthday and the three suspects took the victims handbag containing £50 in cash, her bank card, bus pass, and various personal items.

Police are particularly keen to speak to the three people pictured above, as they may have further information that may help with the investigation.
