It was a Winter Wonderland scene across Oldham this morning (Tuesday) as a blanket of snow covered the borough.
Thankfully the snow hasn't too badly affected the morning rush hour so far, with all schools remaining open at the moment.
It's been a busy night for Oldham's gritters, and a post on Oldham Council's social media feed indicated.
On the X platform (formerly Twitter), the council posted: "It's going to be a busy few days here at Moorhey Street Depot.
"A few of our gritters and drivers are getting a well earned rest after being out all night gritting.
"Keep warm and safe."
A yellow weather warning has been issued for snow and ice in Greater Manchester until midnight on Thursday [January 18].
If you’re travelling, please take extra care on the roads.
