A man was taken to hospital with a head injury following an 'incident' outside a pizza shop in Failsworth, police have confirmed.
Police officers were called to Domino's Pizza on Oldham Road in Failsworth at around 10pm last night (Sunday).
A scene remained in place both outside Domino's and over the road from Brown Street to Field Street this morning as police carried out investigations.
In a statement, GMP said: "At around 10pm yesterday (Sunday 17 March), police were called to an incident outside a premises on Oldham Road in Failsworth.
"A male was taken to the MRI for treatment of a head injury."
North West Ambulance Service have also confirmed that they attended to a patient on Oldham Road last night after receiving a call at 10.57pm, and he was taken to hospital.
