Emmaus Mossley to host second-hand superstore Spring sale

Homelessness charity Emmaus Mossley is gearing up for a special Spring-themed charity event on Saturday, April 20 at their large second-hand superstore.

This free, family-friendly event will include music, entertainment, food and drinks along with the launch of a brand-new shopping area.

The Emmaus Mossley second-hand superstore will be stocked up with great-value goods, themed areas and interesting displays of pre-loved and handmade items.

Hazel Hodkinson, Retail Manager at Emmaus Mossley, said: “Our community is looking forward to welcoming in Spring with a fun event for treasure hunters of all ages.

"From furniture and items for your home, to fab fashion, vintage and retro goods - come and join us for a rummage through our vast mix of stock.

“If you’re interested in music, bands and retro sounds, we definitely encourage you to attend this event!

"You’ll be the first to see our brand-new area and experience the latest vision for our ever-evolving second-hand superstore.”

Emmaus Mossley supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a home, companionship, tailored support and work opportunities.

While at Emmaus, people are given the opportunity for a fresh start, gaining skills and work experience alongside training and personal development.

The Spring Sale charity event is an opportunity for supporters, local residents and new visitors to give their support to Emmaus Mossley.

As well as charity shopping, attendees will also have a chance to explore Mossley Heritage Centre, take part in a charity tombola and enjoy a selection of food, drinks, cakes and other light bites.

The ‘Emmaus Mossley Spring Sale’ charity event will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 10am at Emmaus Mossley, Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley OL5 9AH.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the Emmaus Mossley charity.
