Canadian multi-platinum pop-rockers Barenaked Ladies are renowned for their ability to put on an amazing live show.

The quartet — Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Ed Robertson and Tyler Stewart — are riding high following the release of their 11th album “All In Good Time” earlier this year.

Probably best known for 1998 single “One Week”, the band has made plenty of cracking tracks over the past 22 years.

During their time together, Barenaked Ladies have been nominated for two Grammys and picked up a World Music gong and two Billboard Music awards.

Their first demo “The Yellow Tape” became the first indie release to achieve platinum status after it sold 100,000 copies through word of mouth.

Debut album “Gordon” was a big success in Canada but the band still failed to make an impact in America.

This all changed in 1996 when their track “Shoebox” appeared on the soundtrack for TV show “Friends”.

The band were then invited to appear on “Beverley Hills 90210” and a US tour followed. Several albums and tours followed but they never quite made the big time.

Nonetheless, Barenaked Ladies have retained a strong fanbase and Saturday’s Apollo appearance is sure to packed with the lad’s trademark comedy banter and improvised raps between songs.
