Mum2mum Market proves a big hit at Oasis Academy

The popular Mum2mum Market arrived at Oasis Academy as it launched its second venue in Oldham.

Mum2mum market provides local parents with the opportunity to sell on their outgrown baby and children’s goods to other parents and recoup some of the cost.

Sellers said they really enjoyed the afternoon and especially the opportunity to make money from their children’s clutter. Many picked up a bargain for themselves too.

The sale was attended by 30 stalls of bargains and the icy cold winds didn’t keep people away as the sale had 100 people through the door in the first eight minutes.

Buyers shopped for quality second hand baby and children’s clothes, shoes, bikes, toys, designer prams and nursery equipment.

Mum2mum Market has been running their sales for a year at Oldham Academy North, but has launched a second venue due to the popularity and an increase in demand for stalls.

Kelly Dronsfield, owner of the Oldham Mum2mum Market franchise, said: “Launching a second venue has been exciting but a daunting venture.

"I’ve been bowled over by the success of the Royton sales so it was a risk launching somewhere new.

"I’m so happy many people made the trip to the new venue and glad we could bring our money-saving sales to Hollinwood and its surrounding areas.”

Oasis Academy will be hosting Mum2mum Market’s next sale on Sunday, March 25, between 1-3pm

Award-winning Mum2mum market was started in Wimbledon in 2011 by busy mum of two Cath Harrop. Since then the business has grown considerably, and Cath now has a network of local mums running their own Mum2mum markets across the UK.
