The Tara Badminton Club has been in existence for 35 years
The Oldham-based Tara Badminton Club is on the look-out for new players.
Members of the Oldham and Rochdale Badminton League (ORBL), the Tara club has been in existence for 35 years.
Current players' ages range from 18 to 71.
Tara currently boasts two teams - one on Division Two and one in Division Three - but more players are needed for both teams.
All levels of experience are catered for, but it would be better if players had some experience.
The competitive badminton season stretches from September to April.
Meanwhile, Tara are also looking start a men's singles' badminton group (singles badminton, not single men!), though players would have to be of a reasonably high standard.
At present, because of cost, clubs do not normally compete in singles competitions, but if players want to get to town team or county level, they are required to play singles.
