After the success of the first three community crowdfunding dinners in 2017, the organisers behind Mossley SOUP are appealing for support for the next event on Thursday, March 8.
Mossley SOUP aims to bring the community together to promote, fundraise and support local projects that benefit the people of Mossley.
For a donation of £5, diners receive soup, bread, hear four project presentations and then vote for their favourite idea.
Each presenter will get four minutes to share their idea and an opportunity to answer four questions from the audience.
The winning project idea receives all of the money raised on the night to carry out their project.
The fourth Mossley SOUP dinner is planned for Thursday, March 8, from 6.30pm at Longlands Mill on Queen Street, home to Emmaus Mossley.
This event will also include guest speakers and live music from Jon Mambo and friends including members of Night Host.
Mossley SOUP is organised by local resident volunteers with support from Mossley Town Council, The Mayor of Mossley and Emmaus Mossley.
Previous Mossley SOUP winners have included Mossley Horticultural Show, Save Our Community Spaces (SOCS) and Tots R Us Playgroup, each raising between £540 and £670.
