Don't forget the Failsworth Carnival will be held this weekend - on June 9 and 10 - on Lord Lane playing fields, starting at 10am on both days.
There will be a parade around Failsworth on the Saturday from 1pm, and its not too late to book on to that.
The carnival is a fun family event with a fairground, stalls and lots of other things going on over the weekend.
It is organised by a small team of volunteers and to make it a success it needs community support by volunteering, taking part or just simply come along and enjoy the fun with the family.
This is the 56th carnival and an annual event organised by Failsworth Carnival Committee.
This year it has been supported by funding from MioCare, a local company, and Failsworth councillors.
“We are grateful to members of the local community who have already their offered time and donations, but we really need more volunteers to commit to helping over the weekend,” said Enid Bell, Treasurer of the Failsworth Carnival Committee.
“The weather forecast if looking good.
"Please line the streets for the parade and bring your money.
"Every penny collected goes towards the 2019 carnival.”
