Grace Áine Campbell has been crowned the 109th Garden Suburb Rose Queen.
Families, residents and friends were out in huge numbers to cheer and congratulate Grace as she was formally crowned rose queen by the mayor of Oldham, councillor Javid Iqbal, and mayoress Tasleem Akhtar, at a ceremony at the Pavilion.
It was a local affair for Grace.
Annabelle Lawrence, an upcoming local fashion designer, created her spectacular gown for the occasion to accompany the traditional red train, while Oops A Daisies created the stunning flowers.
She was also presented with a traditional gold brooch by Michaels Jewellers.
Grace's day was made extra special by her brother Finlay (14) leading as sword bearer, with her cousin Payton (4) attending as her petal thrower.
Crompton House school student Grace (12) takes over the role from Blue Coat pupil Talulah Charlesworth, who was last year's rose queen.
The mayor revealed that he was absolutely amazed by the community turnout and commitment to the gala and humbled to attend.
