It’s time to get your team together as Tough Mudder’s ‘Cousin in the City’ hits Heaton Park this Friday and Saturday.

The course, spanning five kilometres, will feature more than ten of Tough Mudder’s top-rated obstacles in the ultimate test of camaraderie and teamwork.

Amongst old favourites, the obstacles will include five brand new challenges for 2018.

Participants can be the first to scramble up and over Giant A-Hole, or swing from ring-to-ring as they take on Hanging Out.

It’s also a great opportunity for spectators to watch the action up close.

If this huge mud run leaves you hungry for more, then many more challenges await.

The full range of events goes from the Tough Mudder Full, with its 10 mile length of over 20 obstacles, to a 24 hour race in the World’s Toughest Mudder.

Both the full and half challenges will be in the North West on September 8 and 9.

Founded in 2010, Tough Mudder boasts three million participants and over 130 annual events in 11 countries.

Their hardcore experiences are crafted by British Special Forces and this is the first time the 5k event has visited Manchester.

If you are looking for a test of teamwork, or just a taste of this notoriously difficult challenge, sign up at the Tough Mudder website: https://toughmudder.co.uk/events/2018-manchester-5k.
