Caring Visiting Angels are triumphant again

Locally-based care agency Visiting Angels Manchester East are winners again.

Representatives from Visiting Angels Manchester East initially attended the care givers Annual Conference as Rejeya was nominated for the Angel of the Year prize.

This allowed her to go through to the finals which was held at the Birmingham head office.

Rejeya has been taking care of Diana, who lives in Dobcross, for about a year now.

Diana had taken the time to personally write to head office in Sheffield telling them why she believed Rejeya should be their winner for the year.

Ms Roxie Usmani Taj, Managing Director at Visting Angels in Oldham, said: "We as her proud employers also sent a short video as to why we believe she should be the overall winner for Visiting Angels.

"The judging began by a panel of the management team at Sheffield as we waited patiently hoping Rejeya would win.

"And we won not once, but twice on the night.

"Rejeya was announced Visiting Angels Caregiver of the year for the Northwest.

"What an amazing achievement for our angel, and Badar and I as Rejeya proudly accepted her certificate, flowers, and award from Dan, the CEO of Visiting Angels."

On the same night Roxie was on stage to collect her award for runner up in the Champion of The Year 2023 category.

Finally, Roxie was also a finalist at the WAGs award ceremony and was Highly Commended by the judges and was the second runner-up.
