DOCTORS and staff at Royton Medical Centre have gained a Pride in Oldham nomination for their caring professionalism.
The team at the Market Street surgery has been nominated by patients for its attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for those in need.
The surgery was nominated by Alan and Susan Prime, who described Dr Murray Stewart and the practice as “the best doctor we have ever had”.
Alan (67) said: “The whole surgery is fantastic, everyone is so friendly and they are more than happy to sit and have a chat. You can tell them all your concerns and they will go through the treatments with you clearly.
“Some doctors would just dismiss you but nothing is too much trouble for them and I think they deserve recognition for their work.”
A practice spokesman said doctors and staff were delighted to be nominated: “We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Prime. Our managing partner Dr Zahid Chauhan is grateful to Dr Murray Stewart, Dr Ruchi Kulshrestha, practice manager Sharon Smith and all the staff members at the practice for their continued hard work.”
