Corella gear up for a huge 2018

Date published: 02 February 2018

After a hugely successful breakthrough year of 2017, ace indie funksters Corella will bounce into 2018 with a barnstorming new single – ‘Caught up’.

Set for release on Friday, February 23, ‘Caught up’ will be available to buy and stream on iTunes, Spotify and Deezer.

Following the amazing reception afforded to last year’s mega singles ‘Barcelona Girl’ and ‘Say something’, Corella return with another typically upbeat offering this month.

‘Caught up’ is another high-tempo, high octane guitar-forged tune which is sure to fire up the ever-growing live audiences this year, and there will be many as the gig diary is busy.

The locally-based band – front-man Joel, guitarist Jack, bassist Ben and sticks man James – are certainly causing a big stir on the scene at present.

YouTube views, download and stream numbers are huge, ‘Barcelona girl’ featured on three of Spotify’s biggest indie playlists and their music has been featured on ITV and at both Manchester City and Manchester United football stadiums.

‘Caught up’ will be popular, but what is it all about?

The band collectively state that “it’s about being at festivals with your mates and being lost in the moment, and not caring about anything else in the world.

“It’s a tune that is full of energy, with a little edge.”

That’s a huge understatement as ‘Caught up’ has got more than a little edge, and you’ll be able to hear it in all its glory during Corella’s forthcoming Spring tour.

The band play the Victoria in Birmingham on February 24, then head to the Monarch in London on March 1, headline Manchester’s Band on the Wall on March 2, play Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on March 3, the Crofters Rights in Bristol on March 10, the Lending Room in Leeds on March 17 at the Fulford in York on March 23.

Ticket sales details for all the above shows are now available via Corella’s various social media outlets – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and YouTube.
