Athletic reduce season ticket prices for 2018/19

Date published: 23 March 2018

Athletic have announced a reduction in season ticket prices for the 2018/19 campaign, and those who buy in the early bird period will receive a free scarf.

As the club’s new owner, Mr Abdallah Lemsagam has made the immediate decision to reduce the price of season tickets for adults and concessions, and this follows the announcement that he had renegotiated the Sports Direct deal and the stadium would return to its roots and be renamed Boundary Park.

As well as a free scarf, fans will be able to benefit from further incentives with the club's brand new front of shirt sponsor Lovell Soccer, who will be offering 15% off the 2018/19 kit to season ticket holders for a limited time only.

Ben Lovell, from Lovell Soccer, said: “We are very pleased to announce our main shirt sponsorship with Oldham Athletic.

“It is a massive honour to be associated with such an historic and recognisable club and we look forward to working closely with the club and progressing with Abdallah Lemsagam's vision, making sure both parties benefit from this new and exciting relationship.”

Athletic Chief Executive Mark Moisley added: “We are delighted to be working with Lovell Soccer who have an excellent reputation in the industry and we have already had very positive meetings with them.

"They were keen to get involved in the season ticket launch and give something back to supporters. We hope the partnership will offer the opportunity to bring fresh ideas and we very much look forward to working with them.”

Lovell Soccer will be offering further incentives during the season for season ticket holders. Also, season ticket holders will continue to receive priority bookings for cup fixtures and local away games.

During the early bird period, which ends on Friday, April 20, there has been a 10% reduction in adult season tickets, while concession prices have been reduced by £20.

An adult season ticket works out at just £11.74 a game, while a concession season Ttcket is £6.95 per game.

This year, the club have decided to extend the junior season ticket to under-18 as opposed to under-16, and this can be bought for as low as £2.08 a game.
