Roughyeds expect to be at full strength for Doncaster test

In readiness for their big game at Oldham on Sunday, Doncaster RL Club have signed a young prop described by Hull FC boss Lee Radford as "one of the best front-row prospects in the British game."

Lewis Bienek (20), 6ft 3in and 19 stone, has joined the Dons on a month's loan from Hull, following their shock home defeat by Hunslet last time out.

A Londoner of Polish descent, Bienek is on a three-and-a-half year contract at Hull, who signed him from London Broncos early this season despite hot competition from other Betfred Super League clubs.

He returned to Broncos on loan and played in six Championship games for them early this season, scoring a try in a 64-18 win against Swin ton Lions.

He was later recalled by Hull, who have high hopes of the young giant.

Roughyeds, meanwhile, expect to be at full strength, boosted by new loan deals for Luke Hooley and Lee Kershaw and a ruling from the RFL's disciplinary people that Danny Bridge's yellow card at West Wales Raiders was sufficient punishment.

The only doubt surrounds prop Adam Neal, who has to have another specialist's check following the concussion he suffered against Keighley seven weeks ago.

The players were back in training last night after their week's break.

Said coach Scott Naylor: "We're waiting for the latest verdict on Adam (Neal), but he is our only injury victim.

"The lads were back with a vengeance last night. Sometimes after a break they're a little bit flat, but last night they were really up for it.

"It was a brilliant first night back."
