ABBA Mania . . . for Saddleworth School Choir
SADDLEWORTH School Choir will be thanking ABBA for the music tomorrow.
It's 40 years since the Swedish popstars won Eurovision and ABBA Mania, the number one touring tribute production, will feature in a special concert, reviving special memories of when the group ruled the airwaves.
The youngsters were invited to perform as the children's choir in the show at Manchester Opera House.
Garrath Beckwith, head of music at Saddleworth School, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to work closely with professional musicians and see exactly what it is like to work in the music industry as part of a professional theatre show."
