A shooting yesterday, and a stabbing today, what is the repulic of Saddleworth comming to? One can imagine the blue rinse brigade choking over the Earl Gray in china cups when they hear of this tsk tsk.

Flake, do you find all violent crime amusing or only when it happens in Saddleworth?

I don;t know how anyone could read amusement in my post KPLees, just a little dig at an area which seems to have regarded itself as insulated from such things.

Then please accept my apology for misreading your message.

Flake if people were more disappointed in these types of activities and less accepting than you seem then maybe you wouldn't amiss yourself at an area that wishes to still find such behaviour a poor reflection of a civil society. Why be comedic of an area which try's to retain morales and principles and not give in by way of acceptance through cheap humour at those who do not follow your own lost path. Maybe a name change to flakey would be more appropriate.

Flake wenever had these problems when we were in the West Riding of Yorkshire all Saddleworths problems are usually imported from a westerly diection!

Not all people are millionaire's in Saddleworth. I was back there in Sept for a visit to see my mum and the place has changed a lot. Not for the better either.
