A FARMERS’ Market is held at the Saddleworth Museum and Art Gallery on the second Sunday of each month.

Fresh meat is on sale and there are stalls selling olives, pies, cakes and cheese — the next market is on March 8.


A COFFEE morning and monthly 200+ Club draw is on the second Wednesday of every month at the Saddleworth Museum and Art Gallery. Taking place between 10.30am–12.30pm, admission costs £1.20.


TICKETS are on sale for Sunday night jazz at The Swan, Dobcross, featuring the Alan Williams Quintet. Taking place on Sunday, March 1, from 7.30pm, tickets priced £6 are available from the bar or online at www.theswandobcross. com.


THE Uppermill Coffee Concert is on at Uppermill Methodist Church tomorrow at 12.15pm. Music will be provided by Tom Redmond on the French horn and Gary Farr on the trumpet — admission is £5, £3.50 concessions.


SPRINGHEAD Community Centre is putting on a brass band concert on Sunday, featuring Friezland Brass Band. Starting at 7.30pm, tickets cost £6 from 0161-624 0707.


THERE is a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer support on Saturday, February 21. There will be stalls and a raffle from 10am-noon, held at Delph Methodist Church.
