ROMAN Castleshaw Archaeology Day is being held on Saturday, March 21, at Uppermill Civic Hall from 9.30am to 5pm. Places are limited so book in advance for £15 at www.castleshawarchaeology .co.uk.

DELPH Methodist Church is holding a coffee morning tomorrow from 10am-noon. There will be stalls available to browse and a raffle in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.



STORYTELLING in association with Age UK takes place at the Hanging Gate Inn, Diggle on Wednesday. The fun social event will include chatting, music and story telling for people with memory problems from 11am to noon.



THERE’S a special coffee morning at Delph Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, February 28. From 10am-noon there will be homebake goods, refreshments, bric-a-brac items and more. Proceeds go to the church.



SADDLEWORTH Creative Network holds its spring Handmade Festival at Uppermill Civic Hall on Saturday, February 28. From 11am-4pm there will be stalls, beautiful handmade local crafts and delicious food.
