Learn from the masters

TWO unique opportunities for young people to experience music and creative writing are on offer during the forthcoming Saddleworth Festival.
International violinist Tasmin Little will be leading a masterclass with three students from the Greater Manchester Youth String Orchestra, followed by a short performance at the Lyceum Music Centre on June 11 (11am).
One-timr Oldham probation officer turned internationally famous poet Simon Armitage will hold a creative writing workshop with year 10 students from Saddleworth School on June 11 (11.45am).
