ST ANNE’S Church, Lydgate, is holding a flea market at the civic hall, Uppermill, on Sunday from 10am-3pm. Entry is 50p. To book a stall contact Kath on 0161-624 1905.
LOVE Lydgate is urging locals to attend a meeting to relaunch its In Bloom initiative. The meeting takes place at the White Hart on Tuesday, June 30, at 7.30pm.
THE Parish community of St Chad is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, July 4, to support West Pennine Down’s Syndrome Support Group. Visit Chad Parish Centre, Station Road, Uppermill, from 10am-11.30am. Entry costs £1.
THE over-50s are invited to join Age UK for a scenic stroll every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm. The dementia-friendly strolls will take place in Uppermill with the group meeting at the side of Warburton Court, just off Uppermill High Street, and take a short route finishing back at Warburton Court.
