Hamish: trapped in a culvert
A DEVASTATED pet owner has thanked the public for its help searching for her pet dog, who has been found dead.
The body of Hamish, a springer spaniel and cocker spaniel cross, was found near Black Moss reservoir and Swellands reservoir in Marsden, hidden down a man-made culvert. He had been missing since July 20.
Hamish’s owner Genna Spinks launched a social media campaign to find her pet and has thanked the hundreds of people who helped the search.
“Words can’t express how I and everyone closest to Hamish feel right now. We are heartbroken.
“The way everyone pulled together to help over the last week has been incredibly touching and truly remarkable.”
