Coffee morning

A COFFEE morning is to be held in aid of the Oldham Asylum Seeker Project on Saturday, February 6. The event runs from 10 –11.30am at St Chad’s Parish Centre, Station Road, Uppermill. Entry is £2.


A LIVE jazz night is held every Friday at Delph Band Club. All are welcome from 8pm onwards.


A COFFEE morning is to be held at Dobcross Band Club on Saturday, February 6. The event, from 10am-noon, will be raising funds for the club. Entry is free.


PICK up a treat at the Farmers’ Market in Uppermill Square on the second Sunday of every month from 9am to 2pm. The market boasts a collection of mouth-watering produce from local suppliers, including cheeses and pies. It has moved from its base at Saddleworth Museum while renovation work is carried out.


ENJOY coffee mornings with the Scouthead and Austerlands Community Association on the third Thursday of each month at the Three Crowns Inn and Restaurant, Huddersfield Road, from10.30am to 12.30pm, including a raffle.


A WINE and cheese night is to be held at Dobcross Band Club. The night, led by wine writer, speaker and consultant Simon Woods, takes place on Saturday, February 27, from 8pm. Entry is £5.


COFFEE afternoons are being held at Christ Church, Friezland, every Thursday from 2 to 4pm. The Friezland Coffee Shop team will serve freshly brewed coffee, tea and biscuits.
