A BATHROOMS business which is celebrating its 40th anniversary welcomed the Mayor of Oldham for a guided tour.
Dale Bathrooms gave Councillor Derek Heffernan and other councillors a look around the site and introduced them to staff.
Other guests included Dawn Torrington, who runs the Doing Biz 4 Yourself networking group, and is a member of the Oldham Business Awards steering group working on sponsorship packages.
Family-owned Dale Bathrooms emphasised its role as an employer and said it believes its showroom at Chadderton's Stockfield Mill is one of the biggest of its type in the UK - and perhaps the biggest.
Managing director Phil Delaney said: "We want to welcome people from all backgrounds to our showroom and show them all the products. Our experienced sales team is second-to-none with over 100 years combined experience in the industry and, importantly, they are employed from the Oldham talent pool."
Councillor Heffernan said: " I was pleased to have been invited to the tour at the beginning of the 40th anniversary of this business and I wish them every success for the future."
