Oldham-based architects Thorpe Whyman and Briggs has appointed Lynn Wild as its new customer liaison manager.
Formerly with the Manchester Diocese Board of Education for more than 20 years, Mrs Wild, of Littleborough, is based at the practice’s Hollinwood business centre offices in Albert Street.
Managing director Nick McGilvray said: “I have recognised the need for ongoing client support and Lynn brings massive knowledge and experience.
“It is difficult to maintain ongoing support to schools after projects are completed, there’s simply too much to do, and yet it is paramount that we have some kind of method whereby head teachers can contact us and we respond accordingly.
“I hope that schools will see Lynn as our way of bridging the gap between the role of the architect and their specific needs.”
