Discover rewards of foreign trade

OLDHAM companies are being encouraged to take advantage of business opportunities in other countries.

During the month there will be a number of foreign trade visits for Greater Manchester businesses, one of which is a trip to a security seminar in Poland between Monday and Thursday of next week.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce said: “Poland was the only European country with a positive rate of growth last year. There are a wide range of opportunities in the country’s security sector including CCTV, upgrading security systems at airports and anti-terrorist security systems.”

Next Wednesday there will be a free event at Manchester Airport for companies in the chemical industry. Chemical trade officers from British embassies and consulates across the globe will attend.

The day comprises one-to-one appointments giving delegates a flavour of the opportunities for their products and services.
