Quiz is banking on your support

THE Oldham Corporate Quiz - which last year raised more than £2,400 for Royton’s Dr Kershaw’s Hospice - is to return in November.

High Street bank Santander will sponsor this year’s quiz, which will also launch the 2015 One Oldham Business Awards.

Branch director Matthew Turner said: “The bank is delighted to be associated with the quiz. We’ll be entering a team as well as supporting the event financially. Everyone at the branch is happy to be supporting Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.”

The quiz, on November 20, will again take place at The White Hart, Lydgate, with the support of owner Charles Brierley.

The questions will this year be much easier, entrants are promised. Entry for a team of four costs £50
