INNOVATIVE Technology has taken ownership of a new £3million office building at its Derker Street site in Oldham.
The cash-handling business founded by Oldham entrepreneur David Bellis, has grown into one of the borough’s most significant companies.
The two-storey, 36,000 sq ft offices will house company directors and management, software developers and a new testing laboratory.
Seventy staff will move into the building, freeing space in the factory
Managing director Aiden Towey, added: “We can accommodate 130 staff so we have the space to grow the business.”
Two start-up businesses owned by Innovative Technology Ltd, Innoprint Ltd and Image Capture, will also find a new home there. Innoprint develops ways to offer alternatives to cash payouts from slot machines, while Image capture develops facial recognition systems for door entry.
