A LOCAL photographer is starting to see his business boom as a result of a low-cost loan granted him through the Oldham Enterprise Fund.
Phil Wareing started Phil Wareing Photography in 2005 and successfully applied for a £5,000 low-interest loan earlier this year through the Oldham Business Leadership Group (OBLG).
As a result of the financial help, Phil has been able to take on more staff, strengthen the business and put it in a positive position for 2015.
Phil (41) said: “The support that I have got from the management consultants, Business Growth Hub, as part of the Enterprise Fund has helped me to expand in many ways.”
Phil’s photography company is now part of Eventbox, a collaboration venture which sees a number of different suppliers come together to provide one service.
Phil explained the positives of the company for individuals.
He said: “If you’re planning a wedding or an equally big event, it can be quite daunting when you realise how many different suppliers are involved.
“Eventbox acts as a one-stop contact for big events with photographers, hair and beauty, bridalwear, cakery and others working and communicating as a single entity on your behalf.”
