Big new sponsor boost for awards

WITH only 10 days to the close of nominations for the 2015 One Oldham Business Awards, a major new sponsor has been confirmed.

Oldham business 02 Mid-Communications Ltd has joined as backer of the Community Engagement category. The business, which has nine outlets across the region with offices at Broadway Business Park in Chadderton, is also backing the Oldham Sports Awards and Pride in Oldham.

Sales director Danny Simpson, who has been a supporter of the Oldham Business Awards for several years, said: “We are an Oldham company employing Oldham people and we are delighted to be backing the Business Awards.

“We have been attending for several years now, and sponsored other parts of the evening, but we are all looking forward to getting more involved in the judging process as sponsors of the Community Engagement category.”
