Accountant keen to add more success

OLDHAM-BASED accountant Andrew Sleigh has been appointed chief financial officer for a national social care charity with 5,000 staff and a turnover in excess of £100million.
Mr Sleigh has joined Community Integrated Care and will oversee its financial strategy, IT, property, fleet and legal services.
Community Integrated Care is one of Britain’s biggest social care charities., supporting over 5,000 people with learning disabilities, mental health concerns, autism or age-related needs.
Mr Sleigh has enjoyed a 30-year career in finance - most recently overseeing budgets and business integration at Kier Services, whose turnover is over £1.2 billion.
Mr Sleigh has lived in Failsworth for 20 years and is a former chairman of governors at Woodhouses Primary School.
His appointment comes as part of Community Integrated Care’s five-year strategy, which has the aim of becoming the UK’s leading health and social care charity.
The strategy aims for the organisation to grow by 30 per cent over the coming years.
Mr Sleigh said: “I have already seen some fantastic things in the organisation and am confident we can build on this success.”
