SMALL and medium-sized firms in Oldham are being encouraged to attend a “match-making” event hosted by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the Bank of China.
The event, on Friday, will enable businesses to meet new contacts courtesy of Bank of China, which will aim to find suitable companies for North-West firms to work with from its extensive customer network of over 10,000 branches and 60,000 customers.
The event, held in the UK for the first time, will allow businesses to explore potential new markets and discover how to sell products and services in China. Representatives from the bank will also provide insights into how to find distributors or business partners.
Key sectors being targeted include food and drink, healthcare and medical, retail and consumer, clothing, aerospace and renewable energy.
