A BAR and restaurant empire built up by a Saddleworth man has been shortlisted for an award from the Publican/Morning Advertiser trade journal.

Arc Inspirations was set up in 2000 by Martin Wolstencroft with business partner Chris Ure in Leeds and has been shortlisted for the national Best Managed Operator (2 to 50 sites) at the Publican Awards in March.

Arc Inspirations now has a £20 million turnover from 14 venues across the North and is targeting Greater Manchester for further growth.

Mr Wolstencroft, Arc’s chief executive said: “I am extremely proud of the whole team and am delighted we have been recognised.”
